Incoming Kindergarten Families
If your child will be 5 years old on or before September 1, now is the time to register for Kindergarten!

When registering you will need:
- Birth certificate/passport / proof of child's age
- Proof of early childhood screening (if not submitted online)
- Copy of child's immunization record / medical exemption or conscientious objection (if not submitted online)
- Daycare information (if applicable)
A Fun Day in Kindergarten
Early Childhood Screening
In Minnesota, all children between the ages of 3-5 years old, need to participate in an Early Childhood Screening. The best time for screening is at age 3 1/2. If your child is ready to enter kindergarten and has not yet been screened, please make an appointment here.
Early childhood screening includes a check of a child’s vision, hearing, height, weight, immunizations, speech and language, motor skills, social skills and general development. Children are screened one at a time and individual attention is given to each child and family.
