Who: Open to all students in grades 4 and 5 and to 3rd grade students by invite only. Information is sent home in late September.
What: Students work on solving complex math problems provided in small groups and individually. These problems come from the Math Olympiad curriculum. Math Olympiad is A not-for-profit corporation dedicated to stimulating enthusiasm, fostering creativity, and strengthening intuition in mathematical problem solving. Five monthly 30-minute contests are administered to participants.
When: October through March two mornings a month
Parent volunteers are needed to make this club successful.
